Carpet Outlet Plus Does NOT Stand behind their work. Stay Away From Them!
My wife and I were introduced to Carpet Outlet Plus by a new flooring company in Wofford Heights (Budget Flooring). Randy there said that he uses their inventory to order for his customers. Go there to view the options. After meeting with Danielle at the Carpet Outlet Plus on Rosedale Hwy, we called Randy at Budget Flooring in Wofford Heights to get confirmation to order the flooring. Did not want him cheated out of his part of the sale. Randy confirmed we should order, so we purchased the flooring.
When the flooring took a few weeks longer to arrive than told by Danielle, I asked Randy what he could do. He told me that Carpet Outlet Plus cheated him out of his participation on the order. So I had to deal directly with them now. Red Flag #1 on Carpet Outlet Plus.
After having the floors only around a year, we had a flood and needed to order flooring to replace the damaged flooring. We also needed a contractor that could repair the sub-floor damages and install the new flooring. We went to where we figured we can get the matching flooring material and a licensed contractor to do the repairs and installation.
Carpet Outlet Plus sent out one of their contractors. They bid the job and I paid them In Full in Advance to do the job.
In short, the contractor sent out some employees to do the job. Silly me, I figured the one who bid the job would be the one doing the work?
The one in charge started telling me how things were incorrect on the quote by the contractor. He will make sure it is all done correctly as he knows more than the contractor who he works for.
The job took several days longer than we were told. I did my best to work around this during 2018 Christmas Season and all.
The workmanship is less than to be desired. High spots where they worked on the sub floor repairs. Damage to existing floors where they worked, entryway to a bedroom that does not tie in correctly, damaged duct work where...
