Review content:
Dresses were hemmed to mid-thigh instead of mid-knee, as I'd asked. The mirror in the lobby is not full length, so it's not possible to to see where they've pinned you while standing up straight. When I asked how much it would cost to have the hems let back out, the owner was rude and argumentative. I finally just left and took the dresses to a different tailor to pay even more to have them fixed, but it turns out the hems couldn't be let back out because they didn't reserve enough fabric to do so - the dresses were ruined. They still had the tags on and I had never even worn them. $154 for sleeves and hems on 2 dresses is absurd, even if they'd done it right. I can chalk the mistake up to a misunderstanding, but there's no excuse for the argumentative (lack of) customer service, especially at that price point.
