This clinic performs UNCESSESARY PROCEDURES and OVERCHARGES! \r Went to this clinic as an emergency (since my vet was closed) for a laceration on my dog and the vet recommended he be admitted into the clinic and needed to be put under general anesthesia for sutures. I refused his recommendation since I was going to go see my original vet the next morning, so the vet placed a bandage over his wound WITHOUT debriding it first! Then he gave him an antibiotic shot which left a huge bruise on my dog's back. This treatment cost me almost $200!!! \r The next morning, I went to MY vet who stated that it was uncessary to put the dog under general anesthesia. He placed a bandage over my dog's laceration and gave me a neck collar and medications all for less than $100. \r I am willing to pay for treatment, however, I do not think it is fair for the Bayside Animal Clinic to recommend uncessary treatments to make some extra money and to charge excessively for procedures. \r \r Bayside Animal Cl
