I was told one of my rooms had asbestos flooring so I was going to install vinyl in that one room. when the vinyl guy came he told me it was just felt back vinyl and pulled it up to reveal the undamaged hardwood floors. when I told them I wanted that floor sanded and stained to match the rest of the house I was told it would cost an additional $800 dollars. If it had been done when the rest of the floors were sanded and stained it probably would have only been $325 extra. Either one of two things; either the guy that came to give me the estimate that told me the room had asbestos flooring was wrong or the vinyl guy who pulled up the flooring in that room was wrong. If it was asbestos, then it wasn't removed by EPA guidelines or if it wasn't then I was charged for two separate days of service when the floors could have all been done at the same time. I feel as though I was over charged and under serviced. I AM NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!
