What makes this place different is that everyone is positive, even when they are busy. This place is calm. This has helped me so much. When I first came here, I was anxious and almost too excited. But over time, I calmed down. I have learned so much from all the therapies. I really appreciate Gina, the occupational therapist, for going out of her way to help me with something. It was a small thing, but to me it meant a great deal. Gina is always smiling and always stops to say hi to me. Lauren, the speech therapist, has helped me with my communication. She has also been a great example for me to follow because she is so friendly, caring, and positive. Amy, in physical therapy, has been very nice to me, too. She asks me questions in almost a motherly way. She has been very understanding when things are a little rough. Melanie in wound care has been so great, too. Because of everyone's help, I have more confidence in myself and I feel ready to go on and live my life.
