Called out the company to check a water heater that some renters in my unit said was not working. Got a call from the tech who said he couldn’t get to the water heater because the refrigerator would not roll out. I’m 550 miles away and he calls me to figure it out. Then I get charged for a service call and was advised that the unit be replaced 1300-1500 dollars was the estimated cost. Plus drywall work would be needed because the unit was in a tight space and they would need to cut out the drywall. Also was advised because unit pipes were not warm at the time he was there that the unit had power but was not heating up. After all that the renters said that they let it run a while and the hot water was working. Sure sounds suspicious to me. Just saying this because I had no way to verify anything that I was told. Think twice about a plumber who can’t figure out how to get to the job and has to call to get advice from someone not on the scene to figure it out. Whew I feel sorry for Myrtle Beach residents. First Buddy’s Junk Removal screws me on a job they did and three contractors doing renovations on my condo now Roto Rooter. Who can be trusted there?
