My AC unit had a major leak and the cost to fix it was less than purchasing a new one. However, my unit is 20 years old which met the life expectancy. I know that it could last another 5 to 10 years or last another month. I chose to get a new unit because it was still going to be pricey to fix the leak- no one makes freon anymore. My new unit was installed the next day. Jon H. the technician arrived at my home and was not pushy at all. He told me the figure to fix it and I asked about a new one. He answered all of my questions. I would recommend Bryant Heating and Cooling.
