Warning: Never Hire This Woman
Kathleen agreed to complete three separate tasks for my daughter's wedding on Aug. 4: 1) collaborate with me in sewing a Temple dress 2) Alter my daughter’s wedding dress 3)Provide alterations for my personal wedding attire.
None of these projects came to fruition. 1) She “lost” the temple dress, necessitating my repurchasing the materials to resew the dress myself. 2) After 4 months of her procrastination and excuses, we received shoddy and amateurish workmanship, and as of July 28th, the dress was still in pieces. One week before the wedding, it became necessary for me to purchase a completely new wedding dress for my daughter to wear. When I told Kathleen of my purchase, she stated that she would still finish the wedding dress and mail it to my daughter *after* the wedding. I assured her that my daughter did not require a second wedding dress months after her wedding! 3) Kathleen asked me to dismantle my own mother of the bride dress in preparation for her alterations. After 7 weeks of zero work on her part, my dress was still in pieces, and I relieved her of her responsibility in the hope that she would spend her time on the wedding dress. I purchased new dresses for myself that did not require alterations.
