Review content:
I gave 5 stars for the following reason: On 3-25-2018, my wife and I purchased a German Shepard puppy identified as male #3 from Rodney at Country Hill Pups. We are very happy to have found CHP. Our puppy is now named Kruzer. Following Rodney's instruction we took Kruzer to the vets after returning to our home in the Lanham Maryland area. After the vet visit we learned that Kruzer was a perfectly healthy 10.3 pounds black and tan GSP. He also had 3 shots given, 1-distemper 2-bordetella and 3-rabies. Our second trip to the vet Kruzer got his nails trimmed and heartguard and nexguard meds. He now weighs 19.9 pounds. The third trip to the vets for meds (nexguard and heartguard) also revealed Kruzer now weighs 33.3 pounds. On the fourth visit for meds and nails and now being 6 months old, Kruzer is at 41.1 pounds. His black and tan markings are becoming more defined. It was an enjoyable experience to meet and do business with Rodney at Country Hill Pups. He explained some of the issues that may arise with removing a puppy from the mother and other animals Kruzer had known the first 3 months of his life. Donna and I highly recommend Country Hill Pups to anyone looking for a healthy German Shepard puppy. During the 5 hour ride back home no issues or mishaps occurred. In fact, he slept most of the way home. There were no problems in getting him to eat and no separation disorders. This is our second German Shepard. Stryker passed away at 9 years of age. He was 48 inches long 27 inches at the shoulder and weighed 122. With my wife being a homemaker Kruzer, like Stryker has bonded strongly with her. On their daily walks, Kruzer seems to be on full red alert to anything that moves in his new environment. I am sure that being a puppy has something to do with that as well. He is real fond of chasing leaves. In closing I want reaffirm that Donna and I are completely satisfied with Rodney and Country Hill Pups. In fact, we are heading to Tenn in the near future and plan on stopping by CHP to vi
