My mother was transferred to Kindred Southwest from back home where we’re from, 2 hours away, we heard good things about kindred and wanted the best for my mom. She has been at Kindred for 25 days she came in with a ventilator, and trach. She was in ICU. day by day we were seeing good progress the nurses and doctors were very informative and helpful. Each week a machine seemed to come off of her and she was more alert and oriented therapy worked with her from day one and never gave up on her. The staff were impressed on how fast my mom was recovering they even nominated her for a success story. Here are some of the staff that stuck with us we forgot some name sorry there’s just so many. Physical therapy- Claire, Irene, Sally speech therapist- Amy Respiratory- Joseph he really stuck with my mom he was funny and positive he kept my moms spirits up , Annette, the Manager Hector he was great with Mom when he had to put a new trach in when she wasn’t able to breath right and took it out when it was no longer needed! Nurses- ICU- Mandi, Tish, Amanda, we’re all great with my mom! We were blessed and Mom got better! Thanks Kindred!! Roberta C.
