On Friday March 30, my daughter took Bagel to this vet because he had labored breathing and kept falling over. Bagel was 11 years old. I was in the area and I met her there. The vet we saw was just out of school. She stated that the he could have had either kidney failure or heart failure and treating 1 or the other could cause the other organ to fail. She stated a blood panel would help us know more. His panel came back that it was just his heart. We were informed that he was on oxygen and would benefit from a day stay in the hospital on diuretics (to remove fluid from heart) and would go home with 3 medications. The vet stated Bagel was unhappy with the O2 mask and that was why he was barking in the back and he might be calmer in an O2 cage. I asked the costs and she stated $40 an hour. I declined since he already had O2 on. Since my daughter is in school I prepaid around $530 for Bagel's stay and my husband and I left to drive home to Nashville (5 hours away) We left Bagel a
