Review content:
I was attacked at a local business by one of their independent contractors while in the course of business. The assailant even brandished and discharged a firearm in the attack. He was subsequently arrested, convicted, and sentenced to 5 years(NLRPD returned a firearm to the convicted felon, but that's another issue.) and this attorney verbally told me that the company offered 15K for both my 10 year old (Yes, he was a witness??) and myself. Of course I refused-- my lawyer never told me she didn't think I had a case since I didn't have medical bills..( I was treated o the scene by EMS)..2 YEARS later she says I have no case. Am I angry? Not anymore, but I would advise against this attorney.
