I wanted to know why the wouldn't accept my insurance card at this YMCA when all the other YMCA's in Oklahoma do accept it. I couldn't believe how rudely I was treated by a Mr. Joseph Pasley who is suppose to be the #1 person in charge. He told me that he runs the place the way he wants and that his Cleveland County YMCA is NOT affiliated with the other ones so he can do what he wants. He told me that he is not obligated to accept insurance cards for senior citizens and if I wanted charity I should go to one of the other YMCA's in the metro or pay the price for admission and that he don't appreciate anyone questioning the way he runs things
I couldn't believe . Experiencing first hand the lack of leadership this YMCA exhibits I can say in good faith that I would not recommend this place to anyone under the present leadership.
