UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES!?! Buyer beware...
Bought a used car in February. When I bought the car, he made a commitment that if there were any issues "" Engine Light"" or ""a thingy"" with the car, to bring it back and he would make it right/fix it.
The engine light came on after driving it for three days so we returned the car to be repaired. They said they fixed it and returned it to me. This went on for a few weeks of bringing the car in because each time they gave it back there was still something wrong with it. I had to constantly call and check up because they where not returning calls promptly or following through with commitments.
Turns out the head was warped and it would be $1,000.00 repair they asked me to return the car and wanted to put me into something else to ""make it right"".
We went to the dealership on a Sunday and the Salesman was 1.5 hour late to our meeting time. We went back and forth on a few cars that cost over 2 times as much as my original purchase price and the whole time they keep trying to tell me how much they were helping me out by getting me into car that I couldn't afford after a while I thought we where about to make a deal even though it was for a lot more money, I just wanted to get the thing over and move forward. When my father in law asked if we could have a couple days to check if we where legally doing the rite thing, let's just say they did not like that and said they had no obligation to help us, that we needed to take the original car home and that they would not be repairing the car. We where on our own.
I would never do business the way they did and am very sad and disappointed in this whole experience. It was my first time buying a car and I was so excited, but now I just feel like I got RIPPED off.
