Dr Hershner has always been my family doctor and it used to be a great place to go until “cornerstone health” came into the picture now I rarely ever get to see Dr Hershner and I tried to get tamiflu called in to the pharmacy for me and my wife because our 1 yr old got the flu so the pediatrician recommended we take it and Ashe medical associates would not prescribe it they recommended using sambocol instead which is fine for me but my wife cannot take it because she is breast feeding and the staff at Ashe medical associates was rude to my wife and told her “ no I don’t know what to tell you they won’t prescribe it to you” that doesn’t seem right to me because we just want to protect our children we have two babies 1 yr old and 3 yr old. The pharmacy said that sambocol was not proven to help anyway so why do they even recommend it if it’s not been proven to work. Besides all that I wish cornerstone health had never come into the picture I wish it was still just Dr Hershner he is a good doctor. Also since cornerstone health came in the cost of doctor visits for someone with no insurance has went through the roof.
