Review content:
For the first time in 27 consecutive years at Gatlinburg we were ready to leave. We booked this house for 2 weeks (Oct /Nov) after much consideration, We had 2 main requests, a recliner (my husband is 78 yrs old and has had colon cancer), and wifi, with a view being a plus. The views of this house show a recliner and a couch. Upon entering, there was a couch and a straight chair, the recliner was nonexistent and we were told there was no intention of replacing it or upgrading for comfort. We ended up bringing a rocker from the deck for a decent chair. (Photo still showing recliner) Hot tub was new and very nice, but no steps. Had to bring our ice chest out so we could get in and out. Bath/shower was inadequate - drain not connected, surrounding tile stained and/or dirty. Sink stopper not working. Vacuum furnished had to be used to vacuum the invasion of ladybugs and it left such an odor we had to get air fresheners to combat that. To be fair the lady in Gatlinburg was very nice but apparently her hands were tied as far as any remedies. Most expensive and least desirable house we have stayed in in 27 years. T
