My husband and I lost our heat and hot water in the middle of the blizzard on Thursday night. We have a new born baby at home and I called Richmond Plumbing in a panic. After talking to an after hours operator and telling her my problem, the owner called back within minutes to find out what was wrong. I told him our house was getting increasingly cold and I was worried about my baby. He was kind and efficient and dispatched a truck to our house, which arrived within a half hour. (Once the plumbers got here they mentioned that the owner made special arrangements to get a 4x4 so they could even reach our house, which is located on a steep hill.) The guys were respectful of our sleeping baby and were very aware about keeping our house neat... they even took off their boots! Within an hour we had heat and hot water and were able to watch the snow fall while our baby slept peacefully. I don't know how to thank them for keeping my family warm on such a miserable night.
