Unfortunately I decided to give these idiots a try. First let me say I had no problems in anyway shape or form with my teeth. I went to Aspen Dental in Danbury CT. My first visit was for a simple check up and a piece of an old filling that had fallen out. Well 30 minutes later I was told I needed a "deep cleaning". The strange thing about this is the charge happened to be double what my dental insurance covered. Also the person breaking down the cost to me had an extensive "conversation" with the finance manager. I have no doubt in my mind the discussion was on how can we pump up this bill to extract more funds from this person. So I left there with a summary and the cost would be $3500 which $1700 I would have to pay out of pocket. In addition they attempted to sell me on this Rotodent brush which they said was really necessary. So I scheduled an appointment for the filling replacement.
