Review content:
We are remodeling a house in the area and used Kitsap Lumber for many purchases. Our contractor also bought items there for us. We attempted to return a box of screws that were purchased by our contractor after he had left and was done. First we were told that we had to have the receipt to get the money back. Several days later I returned with the receipt and spoke with the person I was told was the owner. He refused to refund the money, and refused to put it back on our contractors card as he is now out of state. After all of the business I gave this business I was VERY unhappy. I pointed out to him that I could and would do all of my shopping at LOWE's in the future since they allowed me to return ALL items with any receipt for credit, cash, or in store credit. The owners response was " I suppose you can threaten me with that if you like". I have tried to do business with the "local" businessmen in Bremerton since I have moved here. In the future I will do business with those who have good return policies and also honor my service to our country in the military with a veteran's discount!!!
