Being a weekly shopper of the Dearborn Height's Store, I was literally devastated yesterday when I returned to my Full cart to see 3 young men putting away the items it had taken me 3 hours to find! I didn't realize it at the time, but they also took out my own jacket! I visit there at least once a week because my doctor's are in that area (it is not close to where I live) Every time I go, I spend no less than $100 and normally have two shopping carts full of items. When I asked to speak to a Manager I was surprised to a MGR that I had never seen. I had just spoken to the manager that I see every week and was expecting to see her. I shouldn't have been surprised though because the mgr I am familiar with KNOWS ME and would have never shopped back my stuff. The Manager who gave the order blamed me, saying that she had TIMED the cart and it had sat there for 30 minutes, which is not true, fifteen maybe because I always leave my cart while I look around at other stuff, like the books and pictures and furniture. I had gone to the furniture (and you cannot fit your cart within it). She did apologize, however, I was so upset that I had just wasted 3 hours of my time, I just walked out of the store. (completely forgetting that MY jacket had been in my cart) I have so so so little time and those 3 hours I cannot get back now. I have one day a week that I get out of the house and do my thrift shopping, normally there always first. I keep thinking about all the things I had put together for redecorating my kitchen and I am just to my stomach. Also, the jacket they 'stole' was the only piece of clothing I had from my mother! I am just devastated!! I will probably NOT return to that store. There is one in Wayne, right around the corner from me, that I will be going to now. One more thing: There were only TWO customers in the entire store, myself and another lady that I was speaking to. AND I was only about maybe 10 ft from my cart, but my back was to it..I never had to keep an eye on my cart in other store
