I actively have a disability trust through this company, and they are absolutely terrible. They make it next to impossible to get anything done, they are disrespectful, greedy, and do not help make any aspect of my life easier, and in fact complicate it exponentially.
The rumors about this company killing their clients and collecting the money in the accounts are all likely very true. I just spent 3 weeks with a very unexpected, and nearly fatal health issue. Just prior to this I had made a request that items be purchased on my behalf (which is what they do), and a receipt so I could report to social security. They did not get back to me once over that three week period, I sent a number of e-mails and calls, the individual who set up the trust put in several calls demanding they get back to me as well. They did not make an effort to return any calls until after I recovered from this health condition, at which point they threatened that I would be paying for each of the calls and emails they did not respond to as work charged. This company is murder for hire for families that do not want to have a disabled member of their family collect inheritances. I HAVE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF BUSINESSES THIS CORRUPT EXISTING IN AMERICA.
if you love the person you are setting up an account for and would like to make their lives easier, consider using literally ANY other company who does this same service. Based on my understanding of the contract we pay their lawyer fees if we sue, even if we win, meaning they collect regardless of whether or not they do what they get paid to do.
