My 60 yr mother went for the first time to this dentist. After confirming twice with her insurance that her dental work would be covered and after this place verified the insurance and that is would cover the work, my mother went to her appointment. Being told she would not have to pay anything by both the insurance company and the dentist, she did not come prepared to pay anything. After an X-ray and having the dentist but a mirror in her mouth, the dentist told her it would cost $300!!!! My mother told her because she was told she would not have to pay anything, she would not be able to pay today. The dentist, Dr. Olivia Stovall Wilson, proceeded to tell my mother that if she could not pay the $300 she was going to "call the police and have you arrested because it's just like stealing from Wal-Mart"!!! They would not let her leave and anytime she looked like she was going to leave they would tell her they were going to call the cops!! They kept her in a holding area for an hour crying and worrying that she was going to jail!! This is not how you treat people especially to people who have PTSD!! This kind of treatment is unexceptable!
