Review content:
I am going to have to agree with the previous post. We moved to Washington from out of state and The Fairways seemed to be, from looking around at a few other complexes, a very nice place. They were friendly when we first arrived and were very good at getting us to sign a lease. But that was the ONLY time they were polite and helpful. After the initial please sign here, good luck trying to get them to help you in anyway.
We always paid our rent and utilities on time. We were quiet tenants. They didn't hear much from us at all, except when we needed a maintenance issue resolved which they usually never did. They did not answer phones, so we would usually have to physically appear to get them to do anything. They won't return your messages or just claim you never called in the first place.
Needless to say when our extraordinarily noisy neighbors move in upstairs, we'd call and complain and they never helped us with anything. Just a run around. We had to live with it for the last 4 months of our lease. IT WAS AWFUL. Then they were surprised when we turned in our notice to vacate. And when we told them why they said, well can you help us catch them in the act so we can take care of it before a new tenant leases the apartment. Dumb.
It's a very trashy complex, dumpsters are always full and trash blows all over the place. Children run around without supervision and stand in the middle of the streets and don't move for cars. A lot of the apartments have serious water leaking issues. And avoid Xenia in the front office. She is rude and unprofessional and acts as if she is above you.
Worst place to live in NE Tacoma.
