Businiess name:  Gropp's Famous Fish of Stroh
Review by:  Kim B.
Review content:
Now under new ownership, Pete's Fabulous Fish certainly lives up to it's name. I'm not a huge fan of fish, but Pete's is certainly on my list of favorites (but living in Syracuse, there isn't much to choose from). The atmosphere is that of your typical hometown small restaurant. Depending on the times you dine-in, you'll be faced with bustling wait staff and happy patrons. Decorations are nautical, as might be expected from a fish restaurant set by the lake. It's really quite charming. The restaurant is now completely non-smoking, which might be to the dismay of some, but I find dining in a lot more enjoyable since the restaurant is a bit on the small side. There are two dining rooms, one of which houses the salad bar which always seems to be well stocked and fresh. Carry-out is also an option, and of all the times I've placed an order it is always prepared quickly and fresh. For those who do not care for fish, steaks and chicken are also on the menu, and are equally tasty. I do prefer the fish, however; the batter is light and flaky, and not greasy at all. The fish never tastes "fishy" either, which I also like. If you're looking for a casual restaurant, Pete's is definitely a place to consider. It is family-friendly and the wait staff is always cheerful and pleasant.
