Review content:
A beautiful day with optimal driving conditions on I-95 with my beautiful Mustang. Was in the right lane and saw brake lights in the distance near an approaching on-ramp in Ridgeland, SC. I accelerated to get into the left lane and was pulled over for doing 84/70. It has literally been decades since my last citation which took about 15 min. to complete with a hand written ticket and whatever cops do with your license and registration. I was on my way within 5 mins. I stuffed the nasty piece of paper into an envelope with my travel receipts figuring I'd pay it when I returned to Florida in two weeks. Two weeks later, I went through the receipts and read the citation. That's when panic set in. It was a 4 point, moving violation. We are on the good driver plan with our insurance company and enjoy low rates. The trial was less than a week away.
I made reservations and planned on driving 5-1/2 hours back to Ridgeland to try and plead down the points. I went through 2 weeks worth of mail, there was a letter from the Lord Law Firm regarding the citation, offering to represent me. On such short notice, I figured this wouldn't happen, but e-mailed Mr. Lord to explore the option. Mr. Lord responded via e-mail within 10 minutes, and it was around 10 p.m. He agreed to represent me on July 31st., and I wouldn't have to appear. He kept in touch, explained exactly what information I needed to submit and had everything under control from start to finish. I read his reviews over and over prior to the trial. I found out this morning that he had my citation reduced to a non moving violation with no points and a fine that was a little higher than the original one with 4 points. My only regret is cancelling my trip to Ridgeland. I would have relished seeing him in action. To the drivers who flashed their lights, tailgated and the one motorist who "saluted" me for doing the limit, I highly recommend Mr. Lord. You will probably be in need of his expertise. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would.
