Review content:
My grandson and I arrived July 9. I had reserved the room at Best Western College Way about a month before. The only room available was on the second floor (NO ELEVATOR) and I am recovering from open heart quadruple bypass surgery....it was quite difficult to climb the stairs to the second floor. My young grandson had to struggle with our two bags and get them up the STEEP STAIRS. We tried the card keys and THEY DID NOT WORK. Finally I had to leave my grandson alone while I went down the stairs and walked down to the office and then walked back up the stairs. The night manager met us at the room and she could not open the room either....finally she got it open and said it was OLD AND HARD TO OPEN. We walked into A DIRTY ROOM. The sheets were clean and we slept well. Next morning, I opened the curtains and could see BIRD POOP ON THE WINDOW, HANDPRINTS ON THE WINDOW, and the furniture looked like it had NEVER BEEN DUSTED. My grandson asked why I had booked such a dirty room!\r
The motel is old and shows the wear and tear. The steep stairs are unsafe. The room needs to be dusted and cleaned. We did not stay for the breakfast. When I tried to check out...no one was at the front desk...I waited and waited and finally rang the bell for the third time. Do not consider this motel.
