Our water heater failed to light on Friday morning. A quick call to Affordable resulted in service on either Friday night or Saturday morning. Had we known that the Friday night would only yield an estimate and another appointment on Saturday, we would have waited until Saturday. Since the current H2O heater was 8 yrs old we opted for replacement, even knowing that the total cost would be at least 2 1/2 times retail. The installer was professional and efficient. His only misstep was not setting the heater back enough to clear an air cleaner for the furnace - which he corrected. The city inspector noted a strap to hold the vent flue needed to be installed - no word yet from Affordable to do that. I also noticed that a clamp holding the hot water pipe to the cold air return had been broken and the pipe is hanging loose.
