John and Calvin, his assistant, arrived exactly when they had said they would, and got right to work. John looked at the thermostat and then the indoor unit, diagnosed the problem at once, and fixed it expeditiously. He was friendly, courteous, and patient about explaining what he was doing and answering all our questions. He gave my husband advice about improving our air conditioning unit, and sent Calvin to double-check that the outdoor unit was functioning properly while they were here. He told us how to set the unit so that it would pull the accumulated moisture out of the house, and when to expect the air conditioning to reach a normal setting (important because our house had become somewhat uncomfortable.) I was very impressed with the efficiency and courtesy with which John and Calvin completed the job. It made the experience of having the air conditioner go out during a mini-heat wave a lot less unpleasant, to feel we were in such good hands!
