Review content:
Hanna Ekstrom makes house calls, which is especially helpful if you have a cat who is particularly stressed out by going to the vet. When we MUST go to the vet, we used to go to Cat's Exclusive (please see my review of them) but when we just need an opinion or some wax cleaned our of an ear or something simple like that, we call Hanna Ekstrom. She is an excellent vet. The only small complaint I had about her was that she made me hold my cat when she was trying to draw blood, and that was remedied by me asking her to bring her assistant along the next time because I didn't want to hold my struggling cat. Expect to pay slightly more for a house call than you will for your normal vet, but Hanna is invaluable at times like when your cat is too stressed to take him to the vet or if you need an animal put down and you want to do it at home, she is the person to call. She sees cats, dogs and birds for sure and possibly other animals as well. She doesn't go everywhere, but if you live in her area (Shoreline, Bothell, Kenmore, etc.) give her a call.
