Review content:
My name is Sydney Adams, I had a large wool area rug cleaned by Coit March of 2016. I had the stain guard put on it to prevent any further problems on the rug. I had this done just before Easter and was told it would be back and plenty of time for Easter (this was probably two weeks prior). I've never really been sure what happened but the ball got dropped and the rug got delivered very late. They told me that since there was this issue the next winning would be on them. And I was told that there would be a notation in my file. Of course I call back the following year and at the gentleman by the name of Jim that I had asked for wasn't there but I did finally find out Jim had work therefore I believe 20 plus years and he quit. I was told that there was no information in the file but I was going to have the rug cleaned either way. To make a very long and painful story short, once again my rug was not delivered on time. They did decide to make it right and not charge me for this cleaning. When I received the rug back it looked bleached and washed out on one side but the stain is still there. I called James who was my customer service representative and he explained to me that it was spot remover that I had used. I never view spot remover the only thing I put on the rug was baking soda. He did explain to me that since I didn't have the stain guard put on top the rug last time that's why stain was there. I had to explain to him that I did have the stain guard put on the rug. But you did continue to make simple comment about baby not you sleep at the plant and it must have been a spot treatment put on the rug as if another words this was a story that I have been telling him. They are picking this rug up tomorrow and cleaning it but I will never use the service again. I felt as if I had had my hand smacked. I am 55 years old and have owned a small business myself for 31 years I do not need to be treated as if I am calling to get something for free. I chose Coit because I had heard that they were a great place to deal with but I can say with my experience I do not feel the same way.
