Review content:
I've been told by many that I am a perfectionist. I like to think that I know quality when I see it. I have done most of my home remodeling project myself because I could not find contractors that could, or would, meet my expectations. Stucco work is not a one-man job, so I researched about half a dozen local stucco contractors and called four to provide proposals. Three showed up, but Joe from JRP was the most thorough and professional. I did not have construction drawings, just a long list of items and some hand-drawn sketches. Joe turned that into a proposal that was not the lowest price, but included all the miscellaneous items the other contractors left out. He also had great suggestions for details I had not considered.I hired JRP for:* removal of old wood siding* power wash, repair, and paint eaves* prep for stucco (paper, lath, etc.)* 3-coat stucco system with custom color and texture on the front* 3-coat stucco system patches with color and texture to match existing around new doors and windows in back* Stone veneer JRP was on site within 48 hours of getting the green light. They protected the house and cleaned up as they went. They worked quickly and did high-quality work. Once the final coat was on, Joe and I realized that I had not done a good job of describing the texture I wanted. The texture was beautiful, but wasn't exactly what I expected. Did I already mention I am a perfectionist? Joe was very understanding; he remobilized his crew and changed the texture. Now it's precisely what I'd envisioned.Today Joe's crew finished the stone work and did the final clean up. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. Our home looks brand new! Our neighbors have all followed the progress and are amazed by the transformation.I will hire JRP again for the next phase of our remodel project, and I will recommend Joe to everyone who asks.
