Review content:
For me the Queen Mary is a Five Star. She is the only ship from that period of time on the North Atlantic that is left afloat. I have stayed on her at least 15 times over the years. She is much more expensive to maintain than a hotel on the land, so I don't mind paying a bit extra to maintain history. I am old enough to have been standing in the cockpit of a yacht on the ways in the old Lido Shipyard in Newport Beach when Queen Mary came up the coast at the end of 1967. She made her last landfall under the command of her last Cunard Skipper 'John Treasure Jones'...How is that for the name of a Sea Captain? Her bar is to die for and my wife is always way more romantic when on the Queen! Ernie
