I recently tried to buy a Ram from them. I did not want to come in and sit there for hours playing the typical sales game. So I contacted them over the internet to work out a basic outline to a deal before I came in. I was pre-qualified for financing. Jeramy refused to give me any numbers at all, just kept saying to come into the dealership. I sold cars for many years a long time ago, the game has not changed. Their chance of closing a deal dramatically increases when they have keys in hand. They try to get people to make an emotional decision, it's just how it's done. I was removing all emotion, it was a business decision. EVERY other dealership I contacted worked a deal, and I bought a 55k+ without issue. Barnett is more interested in controlling a potential customer, than hearing their customer's wants. Their loss. Get rough numbers before going to any dealership so you have an idea of what to expect, it will save you money in the long run.
