Review content:
Hi, I recently visited this restaurant while passing through Amarillo. It was recommended by everyone we spoke to around town. We had to wait for a while to get seated, but it was well worth the wait. The server was friendly and attentive. I ordered the New Mexican Green Enchiladas, absolutely like their Santa Fe counterparts. Delicious! My husband ordered the Chile Rellenos Lampriados, an original looking plate, lite and tasty. I am not sure where you usually dine, but maybe your palate is just used to a different type of Tex-Mex. We've been living in Austin for a short time and have discovered Austin's lack of tasty Mexican food, which they seem to LOVE. It's awful here. But...we found out that there is a Jorge's here, a direct link to Amarillo's Tacos Garcia. We could not be happier. Please don't be a hater! The restaurant is popular for a good reason.
