Review content:
Portland Mechnical Contractors was hired by my landlord to work on my HVAC system. They did the work and said everything was fixed, the filters were changed and left. The next day I noticed that the thermostat wasn't working. I contacted them to fix it and was told that the ignitor module had failed. The repair estimate was $860.00. I called Oregon Heating for a second opinion. The Oregon Heating guy came 2 days later and said the ignitor switch had been un-plugged but it worked fine. He also said the filters were clogged. He replaced the filters and showed me the old ones. They WERE awful. Portland Mechanical hadn't changed them or cleaned them at all. \r

I would highly recommend NOT hiring Portland Mechanical Contractors. They lied to me and tried to scam me out of money.
