Review content:
Gayle M.\r I contacted Houston Fence Co back in Nov 2016 for an estimate for a privacy fence across the back of my yard. I woman came in place of Chris Taggart (salesman). She provided me a contract quote for 6' PTP, dogeared, fence signed by Chris. I made several contacts since then to schedule an installation date; however, I was told they were working a very big job and would get to me soon. I called again 7 Feb and was told installation should be within the next week. Again I called on 21 Feb to see when the fence would be installed and Chris spoke to me stating that the quote he provided was for a chain link fence rather than a privacy fence--a chain link fence already existed. I said thank you and hung up. I pulled the contract and called back; however, Chris had left for another job. I told the individual on the phone that the contract stated twice that it was a 6' privacy fence and that Chris signed the contract and why were they not honoring the quote. She stated that they just could not install a privacy fence at that cost. People do make mistakes but you should work with your customer to make it right if you want to remain a reputable business. This was bad business.
