Although it is a 3 hour drive from Humboldt County, I was advised by experienced trap shooters in my area to visit Jones Fort for expert gun fitting. I took my Browning BT-99 and requested an employee in the gun section advise me on proper fit. The fellow was patronizing to both my husband and me. We were fortunate enough to be helped by the owner of the store, Patrick Jones, who finished with another customer and then assisted us. What a difference! Mr. Jones is quiet spoken and listened to me without any condecending attitude and then gave me his advice on what he could do and how it would be done. He said he would call when it was finished. Less than the week he estimated, I received a phone call for him that my gun was ready. My second experience was during a shoot in Redding. The front bead fell off the gun on Saturday afternoon. I was able to get to the store just prior to the closing time. Mr. Jones stayed and replaced the front bead so I could shoot on Sunday.Jones Fort is supp
