Review content:
I have been a long-term client. When this animal hospital was owned independently, it was THE BEST. The doctors were honest, never ordered more tests or medicine than necessary, and there was an integrity that was very special... along with great medical skills. I was confident in the care of my pets. Since being sold to Health Pet and now VCA, the push is on for the most services, tests and medications they can possibly charge for... it is very obvious. And the turnover of veterinarians is amazing, it's someone new almost every time. Some lack an understanding of how to "calmly" approach a pet, others are good. Some are very caring about my dogs, some are less so. But it is obviously a practice that is now run by a "home office" and everywhere you look they are trying to sell something. It is sad and disappointing. After one too many $500 visits and a most irritating manner of their general office manager (which they never needed in the past), I'm going to find a new practice.
