Businiess name:  Arrow-Small World Camper Shells

Review content:
You get what you pay for with Arrow Camper Shells. After searching local SNUG-TOP dealers Arrow had the lowest price, but I think I found out why. I ordered a camper shell for my Toyota Tacoma. It arrived in 3 weeks with a defect in the glass on one of the slider windows, the rubber seal on the back window torn, and the back flare damaged. I requested to have my $500 deposit returned, but was told that was not an option. They could send the shell back and have it repaired. Even the sales rep. from the Long Beach office had a look at it.\r \r So I waited another two weeks and when I went to pick up the shell the window had been replaced with another one which also had a defect, this time damage to the molding on the outside exterior, the rubber seal on the back had not been replaced and the damage to the flare had just been painted over. In addition, the carpet on the interior ceiling had rust marks on it which I was told came from the forklift used to unload the shell.\r \r When I mentioned these items to Randy, who does the work at Arrow, he said he could send it back again. I was skeptical if that would do any good since there was obviously little effort to correct the problems in the first place. I requested my deposit back which he agreed to. I asked if this was the norm and he said that's how SNUG-TOP does business - ""it's not perfect"". Well, I didn't ask for perfection but for the amount of money that's charged for these shells I was expecting quality and commitment to SNUG-TOP warranty which was not provided. Incidentally, while I was inspecting my shell another gentlemen was having one installed on his Tacoma (also for the second time).\r \r So, take your chances with Arrow and SNUG-TOP in Goleta.
