I took my car into Sears for some new tires, possible alignment, and possible new brakes. After I dropped my car off, I got a call saying I needed new tires, brakes, AND rotors. I ended up telling the guy to go ahead with the new tires but hold off on the brakes. He quoted me around $400 for the brakes & rotors. I called twice while my car was being worked on and was put on hold twice each call for 10-12 minutes...when all I wanted to know was when my car would be done! When I went to pick up my car I noticed they charged me extra stuff besides my tires. The next day I took my car somewhere else for the brakes and guess what... all my brakes needed were a cleaning... No new brake pads and DEFINITLY no rotors! Sears would have ripped me off big time! NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO SEARS!!!
