Technician arrived for a dishwasher repair stating he was a GE rep for 14 yrs. The first thing he asked was if the plug on the disposal was knocked out. Mind you the dishwasher is 2 yrs old. He then started looking to see if the line was clogged which I told him I had already checked and it was clear. He still took the drain line off and reattached after finding it was clear. I told him the water sensing float may be the problem. He had no clue as to where it was located. The long and the short was that he had no diagnostic equipment, ran the dishwasher for a minute, said it is not leaking now and should be fine. He wanted $75 for the service call saying he guaranteed his work for 30 days. That night while running a complete cycle, the dishwasher again leaked. I called him the next day and told him I thought it was the door gasket. He told me he could order one ""IF THIS IS WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS'. This is the repair man asking me to diagnose the problem. Morale of the story, trust previous reviews and don't hire morons. Post script- It was the gasket which was repaired by another company.
