I discovered Dr. Poet a few years ago and I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. He's knowledgeable and very thorough. Most of all, he listens to his clients. I had a beagle with a mysterious medical condition and had taken her to several different clinics where she was consistently mis-diagnosed. One vet wouldn't even listen when I told him what I had observed. He was just fixated on a small lipoma she had. (She was 10 years old at the time.) \r

Dr. Poet sent her blood to an out-of-state, specialty lab for more accurate testing. He pin-pointed her problem quickly and followed through with treatment. I credit him with giving all my dogs a longer, more active life span.
