We saw an ad in the local paper for Van Alstine's advertising their clinic on rabies shots at $10.50 per shot. When we got there, the building looks almost abandoned. Inside it's dark and extremely cluttered. They didn't even have examination rooms. Our dogs were administered their shots on a small table in a tiny open space amongst all the clutter. They were giving our dogs the shots before they were even done explaining the charges and filling out the sheets. Our total ended up being $70 instead of the $42 we expected. What they failed to mention anywhere in their advertisement was that they charged $7 for each rabies tag. So it was actually like 17.50 each dog which we could've gone somewhere nicer. On top of it, they charged us an extra $7 just because we were using a credit card instead of cash or check. The "doctor" refused to admit that the advertisement had been misleading and offered no apologies for the misunderstanding. He was absolutely ridiculous. If we wanted to spend nea
