I had a 4-year-old boxer that was having diarrhea with blood and vomiting. This vet first treated him for worms, which his fecal test was negative; she then treated him for an infection and then said it was possibly viral. After I researched the situation on my own I found that Boxers are prone to Ulcerative Colitis, which my dog had all of the symptoms for. And if left untreated for a prolonged period of time that the prognosis is not good and the animal may not respond to steroid treatment. My dogs bones were showing he was not eating not drinking she had him on an IV and for the first three office visits I had paid her 380.00 and she still had no clue what was wrong. My husband then mentioned maybe colitis so they started treating him after the third visit. This was obviously too late he isnt responding to the treatment there fore we are going to have to put him to sleep. Now she wants to charge us 480.00 more dollars for an in patient stay that had made him even worse after his fir
