I recently had the pleasure of working with Jennifer Dikilato when purchasing my Honda Pilot. I admit that I had a feeling of dread when the thought of having to step onto a lot and deal with the white shirt, cheap suit and tie crew that is normally found on a dealership lot. We all know the type -- the three pump handshake, the what are you willing to go ""up to"" mentality and the awful four box approach to buying the car. I went on the lot and braced myself with a quote from truecar and hoped that I wouldn't be arrested for stabbing someone. What I was met with however was entirely the opposite. I was greeted by Jennifer Dikilato. She was happy, focused but not your normal car salesperson. She listened to what I was looking for and then took me to it. There wasn't the auto assesment of maybe if this guy wants this, we can slide him into this model with four thousand bells and whistles. I was really happy with her demeanor and the way that seh explained all of hte feature of the automobile and what was the good and bad. She was patient with my concerns and I never felt like she was trying to sell me the car. Rather she allowed the car to do that for itself and really she was there to answer any questions. I wasn't overwhelemed with the many features as she found a very casual yet engaging way of carrying the conversation along. There wasn't a mounting pressure of we need to buy this one car or it would be stolen away from us the instant we hesitated. I felt at ease even when we returned to the lot after the test drive. There wasn't the awful four box discussion, in part to the truecar price quote, but really due to Jennifer's candor and the way she carried herself. We didn't even have to experience those traditional 30 minute waits between price points. The entire process was very well done and I highly reccommend Jennifer to anyone looking to buy a Honda.
