Review content:
They did a custom exhaust on my car. The technician ran the exhaust pipes under the rear axle versus over it, claiming that was the only way to do it. This rendered the car unserviceable if it needed to have the rear-end jacked up. I had a brake job done on the car several months later and when brake shop put the car up on the lift, it pulled the exhaust system off as the axle fell on the exhaust pipes. I confronted downtown muffler about this and they blew me off claiming there was no other way to do it. The technician who did the original job even had the audacity to tell me to buy a floor jack and carry it with me in the event I got a flat or something. Midas muffler was able to do it the RIGHT way and I had to pay an additional 328.00 for it. This amount was about 75.00 less than downtown charged me for the original botched job they would not stand behind.
