Would NEVER recommend a Amana AC/Heater. Nothing but trouble but, the only thing that was good was the service that we received from Southwest AC/Heating. They always came when needed.
RESPONSE FROM Southwest Air Conditioning and Heating:
Gene we will be the first to admit that Amana Heat pumps installed in2010 have given us a lot of trouble, since all of those problem units we installed we made a change over to American Standard and have not sold another Amana heat pump since we found the troubles given
Good thing is that most of your calls were a no charge and the zoning system has given you a lot of problems
Hopefully we have all of the bugs worked out now
Remember to always change your filter once a year that is very important
