Review content:
My current total house humidifier that is attached to the cold air return on my furnace bit the dust recently. I asked Parkey's to replace the unit with an equivalent form, fit and function unit. I scheduled the appointment at my convenience. The installer called us before coming and arrived right on time. He replaced the unit and then went above the call of duty to correct some shortcomings of the original installation (not done by Parkeys). The existing hole in the cold air return where the humidifier is attached was reinforced to reduce vibration (and noise) and was extensively sealed with silicone caulk instead of tape; again to reduce vibration. The original control unit was repositioned further back (away from the humidifier and furnace) so it accurately sensed the dry return air rather than the air moisturized by the humidifier. A water filter in the copper line between supplying water to the existing humidifier was securely attached to the furnace to reduce strain on the copper line. And finally, the existing saddle value on the copper line was replaced after the installer noticed that the existing one had a cross threaded nut. This attention to detail is what keeps me coming back to Parkeys.
