Marshall and Luis did a very thorough inspection of my house and pointed out places where cold air was apt to get in. They installed doors sweeps and weather stripping and changed out all the lightbulbs to energy-saving ones. They put aerators on the faucets to save water. They were efficient and very nice: real pros. They were not able to perform the planned air flow-through test on the house because of some short sections of asbestos-covered pipes in the basement, but I nonetheless benefitted greatly from their visit (free because of an Eversource/Wallingford Electric Division partnership). I strongly recommend people to take advantage of this program (called Home Energy Solutions) . You will probably save a lot of money. Even if you have to pay (normally $124, according to the flier), it will be worth it over time unless your house is already perfectly sealed.
