First thing, the staff Ken, Tanya and Ron I love to pieces. They really lift me up when I'm down sometimes and they are always cheerful and their sense of humor is wonderful. Ken was the first staff member I met and he asked if I could walk up and down the hallway. He walked with me up and down about three times and that was very draining. Before I knew it I was walking up to 1 mile, then one and a half miles and now I'm up to 2 1/2 miles. They taught me breathing techniques that I can use at all times and when I'm short of breath. They also taught me how to cope with panic attacks. I have had issues with anxiety and had to take medication for it and this rehab has enabled me to cut down my medication to a minimal dose. I am very happy with the progress I have made. I am much more relaxed now than when I was when I first started. I have learned how to recognize and control my anxiety and I am now able to stop my panic attacks as soon as they start. Everything that they have taught me has helped me a great deal. One of the things that I like best about the staff is that they really listen to me and they keep me sane. They always give me the best advice and they know what they are talking about. They are very good at what they do and they are also very professional. The only thing I can recommend is some additional equipment. I love the Sci Fit exerciser and there is just one of that type of equipment. Sharron J.
